DESCRIPTION:
EPW - Clary, Continental, verge fusee, 51mm, 18K gold (tested) OF original case with dark blue guilloche enamel to rear and pendant, seed pearl set bezel and rear perimeter, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 2, KWKS (no key is included with this lot), verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate-scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s# to pendant appears to be 11193 though with some uncertainty to fourth digit due to wear of the marking. Gross weight of assembled watch 43.4 dwt (67.5 g)
CONDITION:
Mvt: Ticking in most positions but stopping when pendant down, overhaul needed for this issue, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild bits of haze to gilt surfaces, few micro-fine scratches, oxide to coqueret; dial with chipping extending around upper side and right side of winding aperture, few tiny edge nicks under bezel; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, rear guilloche enamel is fully intact, pendant guilloche enamel with few small flakes of loss, bezel missing one pearl at 12:30, all other pearls present; bow pivots freely, push shows light wear; good domed glass crystal.
